Privacy Policy

Marketify Inc. ("Marketify", "we", "us") operates https://marketify.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, request a free audit, or email us, we collect what you provide: name, company, email, phone number, website, trade, service area, and what you tell us about your advertising.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we log IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and the Google or Meta click identifiers attached to a visit. We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure whether our own advertising works.
Client account data. If you become a client, we access your Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and call-tracking accounts with the permissions you grant. We see the lead, call and conversion data those tools record.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, schedule calls, and send the audit or quote you asked for.
- To run, measure and improve the advertising we manage for clients.
- To operate and improve this website and our own marketing.
- To send occasional emails about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business and only for the purposes above: scheduling (SavvyCal), email and CRM tools, analytics (Google Analytics), advertising platforms (Google, Meta), call tracking, and cloud hosting. Each is bound by its own privacy terms and by our instructions.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
Call recording and tracking numbers
Calls to tracking numbers we set up for clients may be recorded for lead quality review. Callers hear a notice before the call connects. Recordings belong to the client and are kept according to the client's settings in the call-tracking tool.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta tags to understand site traffic and measure conversions. These may set cookies that recognise your browser across visits and sites. You can block cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and adjust Meta ad preferences in your Facebook account. Doing so will not stop the site working.
Where your data is stored
Our providers may store data in Canada and the United States. When data leaves Canada it is subject to the laws of that country. We choose providers with recognised security practices and contractual privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
Prospect data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact. Client data is kept for the duration of the engagement plus seven years, as required for Canadian tax records. Website logs are kept for up to 26 months.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it. You can withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. Write to hello@marketify.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use access controls, two-factor authentication, and encrypted connections for the tools we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the regulator of any breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, as the law requires.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
